Heir tracing is only possible if you have the necessary specialist knowledge, such as reading old manuscripts and a sound historical background. Knowledge of inheritance law in the various countries is also a prerequisite. Our employees as well as our managing director and our colleagues in Germany each have more than 10 years of experience in the specialized field of heir tracing.     Julia Pfeifer started working for a large Austrian probate research agency in 2007 after graduating in French and has acquired extensive knowledge in the field of national and international heir tracing and global family research over the years, including as branch manager.

    She is fluent in German, English and French and has a good knowledge of Spanish and Dutch.

    Julia Pfeifer is a member of the International Association of Professional Genealogists (APG).

    After studying General and Applied Linguistics and Slavic Studies, specializing in Russian, Eva Waldhuber has been working for a large Austrian probate research company since 2011, gaining experience primarily in the field of international probate investigation.

    She is fluent in German and English and has a good knowledge of Russian.

    Eva Waldhuber is a member of the International Association of Professional Genealogists (APG).

    Jan-Mathis Holstein has been working in the field of heir tracing for over ten years and during this time has worked both as a genealogist and as a managing director in several companies in the sector.

    2020-2021 Jan-Mathis Holstein was Director of the International Association of Professional Probate Researchers (IAPPR).

    He has been a member of the International Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) since 2012.

    In 2019, 2021 and 2023, Jan-Mathis Holstein was recognized for his commitment to heir tracing at the UK Probate Industry Awards.

    He is also Managing Director of ADD HOLSTEIN Erbenermittlung GmbH in Germany, honored at the UK Probate Industry Awards as the best company in the field of international probate research.
